Club History
Our Club was formed in 1985 when it became apparent that there were a number of business and professional people in St Neots who wanted to become Rotarians but were unable to join the existing Rotary Club that meets at lunch time.
St Neots St Marys was formed to be a second Rotary Club in St Neots, meeting on a Tuesday evening to enable many people who live locally but work elsewhere to join.
The first meetings were held at The White Horse Inn, Eaton Socon and the Club has met there ever since, until February 2011 when they moved to a new venue on the other side of the town – The Chequers Inn, Eynesbury.
Members enjoy a relaxed evening with a meal and an invited speaker who will talk after the meal. These speaker talks cover a wide range of subjects, from local interest to national and international topics.

The fellowship and friendships developed from the weekly meetings and other Rotary activities can only be fully appreciated once an individual becomes a member, but there is no doubt that lifelong friends are established through Rotary.
